A Principal's Perspective
I am not sure where I saw the video below. But supposedly being the world's shortest film and only taking 30 minutes to design caught my attention. Then I thought about the message in the video. We all need help from time to time especially as the spring semester begins. We all know the tribulations, stresses, joys and successes that the spring semester can bring. I think this video reminds us that as someone needs help, is down, in a seemingly impossible situation, things are upside down - you get the picture - that it is our school family, a colleague, a team member, a partner and even a principal that can lend a helping hand to make things "fly" right! As in the video, the first step is to notice and take that first step to offer assistance.

Picture Schedule
Tech Time
Our next Tech Time opportunity will be Thursday, January 24th, from 3:30-4:15. Remember if you attend not only will you learn some amazing tech tools and applications to use with your students, but you will also get to wear jeans on Tuesday, January 29th! Sonic drinks on Friday, January 25th, if 100% of your team attends. Tech learning, jeans AND Sonic! Gotta love it!

CSISD Campus SUB Incentive
The district has outlined a campus sub incentive plan to hopefully decrease the sub demand across the district. Please see proposed plan below. The plan will begin in January
Each month, campuses will have an opportunity to earn $1,000 for the highest rate of staff attendance
Sick leave and district required activities are excluded
There will be a winner for both Elementary (PK-4) and Secondary (5-12) each month
Campus staff will have input on how to use the money - get creative!
