Background
When Nicolaus Copernicus was 10, his father died and his Uncle, a Bishop and Prince, took him in as his own. Copernicus went to the University of Krakow in 1494. In 1496, he went to Italy to study law, medicine, and religion for 10 years. Then after he finished school, he worked on a theory on how the world works (Heliocentric or Geocentric). He presented a Manuscript in 1533 on this topic.
