Course selection can be exciting and fun! Everything you need to let us know what classes you want to take in your 9th grade year at Westview is contained in this newsletter.
The button to access the Course Selection Worksheet to select your classes is at the very end of this Newsletter. Please take time to read through the resources before you select your classes.
Welcome Wildcats - Class of 2026
This Newsletter serves as a toolbox of resources to help you to successfully plan and complete your course selection and begin your high school experience.
In this Newsletter we will introduce you to our Counseling staff, teach you about the value of our 9th Grade Planning Guide and how to use it, and to begin your high school planning. We will help you understand the course selection process at Westview and teach you to complete the Course Selection Form using "Go Formative". There is also a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section to Answer your most pressing and basic questions.
We have another Newsletters coming in April to provide a virtual Fly Up experience and one in June to outline Next Steps to Begin High School. In April you will get one more chance to look over your course choices to be sure they are locked in to the ones you want. After the Course Selection period in April, no other student or parent request changes to courses are allowed.
