Math Lab

Our Math Lab is going strong with lots of kids getting extra support in the area of math. We also have been fortunate enough to get some extra helpers from Klein Oak's Mu Alpha Theta Organization. They have loved working with our kids and the support has been amazing! Math Lab is every Tuesday and Thursday in room 2114 from 4:15-5:15 pm. Students can receive extra help on homework, studying for tests, going over topics that they need extra help with, etc. It is not 1:1 tutoring but more of a "help room". Students can sign up each week for the session they wish to attend through their Updates on Schoology where there is a Google form to fill out for the session they are attending. They need to fill out the short form EACH TIME they wish to attend. There will be NO MATH LAB on Thursday, December 19th due to the holiday.

Technology Center

Student’s chargers should remain at home. Students are assigned a chromebook charger at the beginning of the year with a unique serial number and must turn that exact charger in at the end of the school year. Bringing chargers to school allows opportunity for mix ups and for loss. Lost/stolen chargers are not covered by the insurance purchased at the beginning of the school year. Chrombooks must be transported in their Klein ISD issued case. Damage that occurs from carrying a chromebook without a case (ex. In a backpack, using a different case) will not be covered by insurance. Please make sure your student is using their issued case each time they transport their chromebook (ex. between classes, before and after school). Chromebooks dropped off in the front office will be delivered to the Repair Center only. Students must come to the Repair Center to pick up. Parents, please make sure your student is aware ahead of time that you are dropping off. Please remember No Case = No Chromebook. Thanks,

Holiday Toy and Toiletry Drive December 9th through December 17th. Drop off donations in 1st period class. Donations will help out our Hofius family this Holiday season.

Candy Gram Sales at Lunches. Pick a treat for you or/ and a friend this Holiday season. Send to your friend with a message of cheer. Make sure you know their first and last name and 1st period teacher. Pre sales Monday 12-16 through Thursday 12-19. Delivery Friday 12-20 to first period classes. Remaining inventory on sale at lunches 12-20 while supplies last. A Hofius Student Council sponsored school fundraiser.
