TONIGHT!!!
A. Linworth Community Picnic
All Linworth families are invited to our annual Linworth Community Picnic. Tonight, starting at 6:00 p.m., we will have a fun time of chatting, eating, and enjoying new and old relationships.
Simply bring any side dish or dessert. We will provide burgers, veggie burgers, and hot dogs, as well as water, plates, condiments, and utensils.
There will DEFINITELY be a bounce-house-like activity, too!
B. New Student Orientation and Linworth 101
Immediately after the picnic, we will host the New Student Orientation and Linworth 101 (for parents/guardians). We will cover all of the basics of Linworth and be available to answer questions about this coming school year.
We will start at 7:30 and be done by 8:30.
C. Senior Bonfire
The Senior Bonfire is back!
Staff will enjoy time together with the Seniors around a bonfire behind Linworth starting at 9:00.
I will have a few comments for the group at 9:15. This is voluntary, but I’d love to see all seniors there.
The first two days of school
A. On Wednesday, August 18, & Thursday, August 19, all Linworth students will be at Linworth all day, both days.
B. On Wednesday, August 18, a pizza lunch, including vegetarian and gluten-free options, as well as salad and water, will be provided by our Parent Board (of which you are a member).
C. On Thursday, August 19, lunch will be a potluck. We are having student groups (families) picnic together, so we’re asking students to bring stuff to share with others. We have students with food allergies, so nothing with peanuts or tree nuts, please. If you’d prefer, feel free to simply pack a lunch for self.
D. For those two days, we need a few volunteers from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm. If you can help, go here.
Registration
Registration and item pick-up will end at Linworth today, Wednesday, August 11, 9:00-3:00. Come to Linworth first to get your schedule, a locker, a t-shirt, and a picture taken. You still need to get your student ID and Chromebook from the main campus, but you can skip the other lines.
Prior to Registration (but after August 6), please take a moment to pay school fees at www.mypaymentsplus.com and update contact information on Infinite Campus. Please see Directions for Completing Emergency Data Review & Paying Fees Online below.
Please complete the Off-Campus Permission Form, which communicates what privileges your student has in terms of leaving campus. Chris will talk about this more at Linworth 101 for those of you not familiar with Sign-out.
Remember, the first two days of school, Wednesday, August 18, & Thursday, August 19, all Linworth students are at Linworth all day.

Masking and Safety Protocols
"All students K-8 are required to wear a mask in the school building during the school day (unless medical or developmental conditions prohibit use.) Students in grades 9-12 are strongly recommended to wear masks in the school building during the school day. Vaccinated staff are strongly recommended to wear masks in the school building during the school day. Unvaccinated staff are required to wear a mask indoors on school property. Preschool masks are strongly recommended. Under federal order, masks must be worn on school buses.
Additionally, we plan to host vaccination clinics for students age 12 and up at middle and high school schedule pick-up. We encourage vaccination for students who are eligible as this is the surest way to make sure you can consistently stay in school."
At Linworth, I will strongly encourage all students to wear a mask while inside. We will provide extra masks.
