1st Quarter Awards
On Oct. 31, MJH hosted the 1st Quarter Awards for all students that earned A Honor Roll, AB Honor Roll, and/or Perfect Attendance for the first quarter of school. We had 150+ students with Perfect Attendance overall for the first quarter, and roughly 25 students with all A's and 150 students with all As and Bs. We are so proud of all of hard work from each student during the first quarter grading period. Pictured below are just a handful of students that received awards at this assembly. Keep up the great work!

"Breakfast in the Hallway" at MJH!
What is "Breakfast in the Hallway"?
After Fall Break, Morales Junior High is rolled out a new initiative called "Breakfast in the Hallway." Through this program, students at MJH are served breakfast in the hallway prior to the beginning of 1st period. This program is being piloted by a man named Adrian Rodriguez who is conducting a case study for Baylor University over the benefits of breakfast being served to students in this innovative manner.
Logistics:
The first bell rings at 8:30 a.m. to release students to their 1st period classes. Breakfast is served from 8:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m in the hallway and students may take their food into their first period class. Any student not in the classroom by 8:45 is counted tardy.
Below are a few photos showing students participating in Breakfast in the Hallway last month.
