Heavy Rainfall Potential
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for areas north and west of Harris County through Saturday evening.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the heaviest rainfall remains NW of Harris County where widespread amounts of 3-4 inches are likely, with isolated totals of 6 inches possible. Across Harris County, widespread rainfall of 1-3 inches will be possible with isolated totals of 4 inches. The current watch does not include Harris County but may be shifted southward later this evening as rainfall trends become realized across the region.
Residents are urged to monitor NWS for the latest updates.
