More restrictions on gun control?
Should they add more laws?
More gun control laws would reduce gun deaths.
Guns are rarely used in self defense.
Guns are rarely used in self defense, in the news what do you see and hear? You mostly hear and see that they talk about people getting killed, because they have mental issues or they have something going on in their head that causes them to do this. Regardless if they have a purpose to kill the person I believe that guns won't solve anything. In the 2nd amendment it states, "A well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed". Yes people do have a right to keep and bear arms and that they can't take it away from you. The meaning of this is that guns are used for protection and not to go around and killing other people. You guys are responsible of your own gun and how you use it. There are people who uses gun for self defense but what I mostly see is that people are getting shot, people die every day due to someone using a gun, not for self defense but killing people because of anger, depressed, mental issues, and other sorts of problem, that leads to killing someone. Adding more laws will decrease the amount of people being killed. Every other democracy on earth has already dealt with this problem successfully. America has always been capable of doing great things; its in our DNA. There's no reason in the world we can't take sensible steps to keep guns away from dangerous individuals.(Ladd Everitt, NY Times)
