French Culture
Chapter Three
Shopping
Many people in French speaking countries still buy groceries at small neighborhood shops rather than supermarkets
Meals
Usually lunch and dinner are made up of several courses: appetizer, main course, salad, cheese, and dessert. An appetizer could be cold cuts, salad, or a soup. The main course is meat or seafood. Usually, a wide variety of meats and vegetables will be encountered. Dinner is usually a light meal, consisting of eggs and little to no meat.
Celebrations
Much like the U.S. , French New Year's celebrations are usually held with friends and Christmas celebrations are held with family members.
