Week of August 14, 2023
A Note From Mrs. Anderson
We have had an amazing first few days of school! We have seen a few tears and lots of smiles from all of our Powell Panthers! I hope that your children have make connections with their teachers and classmates and feel confident about their school year!
Please mark you calendar for Parent Information Night on Tuesday, August 22. 3rd and 4th grade will run from 5:00-5:45 and Kinder-2nd grade will run from 6:00-6:45. We ask that only parents/guardians attend this event so that teachers are able to present all of the information without interruption. Your child's teacher will provide information to help ensure your child has a successful year!
Each grade level newsletter is linked below. Please look at the newsletters appropriate for your child(ren) to stay up-to-date on grade level items.
I hope everyone enjoys their weekend and we look forward to another exciting week of learning!

Parents and guests will still need to show their valid ID at the front office upon arrival.
Please be aware that no adult can use their child's lunch money account to pay for their own lunch. The federal government requires strict record keeping on the lunches provided to students only for reimbursement procedures. PTO News
Get a head start on the CISD background check for a smooth check-in process at Powell! (https://apps.conroeisd.net/volunteer/) The background check will allow you to enter Powell Campus during our events, volunteer opportunities, and get togethers.
The incentive for joining PTO this year will be a color changing cup and straw with our Powell Panther logo on it. So you can slurp up some of your favorite drink while looking cool!
This year our Fundraising team is partnering up with Mabels Labels to help out our PTO and your Panther. Labeling items such are jackets, shoes, water bottles, and lunchboxes will ensure these items make it back to your panther and not into Lost & Found.
