A Note From Mrs. Anderson

We have had an amazing first few days of school! We have seen a few tears and lots of smiles from all of our Powell Panthers! I hope that your children have make connections with their teachers and classmates and feel confident about their school year!

Please mark you calendar for Parent Information Night on Tuesday, August 22. 3rd and 4th grade will run from 5:00-5:45 and Kinder-2nd grade will run from 6:00-6:45. We ask that only parents/guardians attend this event so that teachers are able to present all of the information without interruption. Your child's teacher will provide information to help ensure your child has a successful year!

Powell Elementary Lunch Sign-Up

We look forward to having parents join us at lunch beginning August 21st! During the first few weeks of school, our students are learning the lunch routines and procedures.

Due to our growing student population, parents will be asked to sign up in order to attend lunch to eat with their child. Two guests will be allowed to sign up per child. Parents will sign up using the Sign Up Genius below.

Parents and guests will still need to show their valid ID at the front office upon arrival.

Please be aware that no adult can use their child's lunch money account to pay for their own lunch. The federal government requires strict record keeping on the lunches provided to students only for reimbursement procedures. If you would like to buy a lunch from the cafeteria when eating with your child, it must be rung out separately.
