Back to School Night is Tuesday, September 13th from 6 - 7: 30 pm. This is an opportunity to follow your scholar’s schedule, meet their teachers, and learn more about what they will be learning this year. Please have your student’s schedule (electronic or printed) with you that evening.

Students who did not attend registration will need to have their picture taken on Monday, September 12th for their student IDs and to order photos if families so choose. Picture Retake day will be October 18 and picture packages can be purchased at this time as well.

Athletic Pass stickers for students who have purchased one after their ID picture was taken will be given to students at the end of the first week of school. Students can bring their ID cards into the Main Office and see Ms. Omeja or Ms. Yunén to get the activity pass.

Please note the following parking permit updates:

1. Applications have been processed. The application window is open for the remainder of the year for students who will be getting their licenses over the next few months.

2. We are fortunate to have enough parking for all who applied. The parking permit fee of $60 will be added by the end of the day Tuesday, September 13th and you can pay online.

3. Permits will not be issued until the fee is paid. Students who have paid by Thursday will be given their pass in SP30 on Friday.

4. Parking enforcement will begin on Monday, September 19th.

5. Please reference this important document regarding HS parking and parking lot maps.

* Students who do not pay for their permit before Thursday will be able to do so in the front office, but will not be allowed to park in the student lot until the permit is paid for and displayed in the vehicle.

For the safety of our students and families, please use the Door 6 circle (first left from Grove St) when dropping scholars off in the morning and picking them up in the afternoon. Students can enter Door 6 from 8:05 - 8:35 am and exit through Door 6 after school. This will help limit the number of students walking through parking lots and moving vehicles.

All senior portraits are due for the yearbook by November 1, 2022.

Purchasing Senior Ads in the Yearbook:

To purchase a senior recognition ad, your submission of your Grad Ad is due by December 1, 2022.

You will purchase these at the same link where you can purchase the yearbook. Simply scroll down and click the button that says “Create My Ad.” Again, if you have any questions or concerns in the meanwhile, please contact Amanda Davis (EAST HS) at andavis@sunprairieschools.org (608) 834-6743.

Go to www.jostensyearbooks.com. Type in “Sun Prairie” and make sure you click on Sun Prairie EAST. The yearbooks for East and West high schools will be different this year, so it is very important that you purchase the correct one.

Yearbooks must be pre-ordered to be guaranteed a copy of the 2023 Yearbook.

The price for the full-color book is $65 and will remain so until Nov. 20; the price at that time will be $70 until we place the final pre-order in January.
