Lago Vista Middle School
Excellence In All We Do 9/11/20
Settling Into The Next Routine...
Well, our teachers and students have earned this weekend for sure! We made it through our "second" first day of school, and it was amazing to see our students again. It was a great first step for our teachers and it felt good to get back to what we know how to do.
What does the next week look like?
Monday, 9/14 - A Day
Tuesday, 9/15 - B Day
Wednesday, 9/16 - C Day
Thursday, 9/17 - A Day
Friday, 9/18 - B Day
The big question is, what does a C Day look like? First, C Days will be every Wednesday from now until the end of the year. There are three major purposes for C Days:
1) Deep cleaning of the entire school building
2) Dedicated time to help and prep for our online students.
3) Time to help our struggling learners who could benefit from small group instruction(by appointment only).
Students who are here, but who do not need small group instruction will work quietly and independently in the gym or cafeteria. In order to help us plan, we'd like to know who is coming - please fill out this form by Monday at noon -

If you are not planning on attending; you do not need to fill out a form! We will send out this form every Friday for the following week.
What should students do during C Days?
If your student is home during a C Day, they will need to fill out one attendance form, which is on the LVMS Google Classroom - make sure your student is signed into this class. The code is: 6dq3rwh
After that, your student will need to check into each of their classes for work.
Make sure your students are checking the morning announcements everyday - if they haven't been, they can be found on this Google Classroom: 6dq3rwh
Thank you for all of your support!

What Day Is It?
Help Keep Us Playing!
- Spectators, audiences, fans and media are required to wear face coverings as described in Executive Order GA-29.
- Groups should maintain at least six feet of distance from other groups at all times, including the process of admission and seating. A group is defined as no more than 10 people including the members of the household and those persons who traveled together to the facility.
UIL is very serious about these guidelines, and if we want to continue to play sports this year, we must take these to heart. Photos from different schools not following this guidance have already been circulating, which puts all of our programs at risk.
Please make sure to wear a mask at all times and respect social distancing.
Volleyball Games
1) Players will be given vouchers to give to their families for tickets. If you do not have a voucher, you will not be able to attend the game.
2) Exact change for tickets is requested, if possible. Tickets are $3 dollars for adults, $2 for children.
3) A games will be played in the Upper Gym, B games will be played in the Lower Gym. Spectators are asked to leave the gym after their child plays so that we can maintain social distancing.
4) Masks will be required.
For football, all LVMS games will be played at the high school so that we can maintain social distancing.
