The National School Board Association has named the Grand Forks Public Schools Mentor Center a Silver Magna Award Winner for Innovation. We're excited about the news, and we want to remind families about this opportunity for their students.
The Mentor Center is a FREE resource available to GFPS middle and high school students Mondays through Thursdays from 1:00-8:00 to provide these services:
Academic Support
Social Emotional Learning/Mental Health Support
Enrichment Activities
No separate registration is required, but students (or their guardians) do have to sign up for the days they will attend. If you'd like us to email or call to discuss the Mentor Center, you can also fill out the optional referral form.
Our bus stops at area middle and high schools each day and can take students home again each evening. Free food is also provided.
