Dear Green House FamiLEE!
I hope that this newsletter finds you all happy with your new iPads and pencils, overjoyed with the beautiful weather we've been having, and having fun exploring the goodies in your bags that you picked up earlier this week!
These short weeks are always busy, but we have had a great week of learning. Mrs. Susie Mayes from the Las Colinas Federal Credit Union joined all the fifth-grade classes in Zoom session to kick up our math unit on Personal Financial Literacy. Next week Mr. Whitfield, our science director from Coppell ISD will join us to get us started on a non-fiction book project.
Our Social Studies Reader's Theatre presentations this afternoon were amazing. The effort and practice that went into the presentations truly made it a joy for all of us! Thank you to all my learners! Well Done!!
Congratulations to Pavan for winning our class representative position. I am so impressed by all our participants and Pavan is truly a wonderful leader, so gracious, soft-spoken, kind, and already being an incredible role model for his classmates through his engagement and enthusiasm, and encouraging words for others!
Our girls who have participated in the IBM Cyber Security program and webinars can be checking their mailboxes for a gift shared by our wonderful School Board Trustee, Mr. Anthony Hill. We are truly blessed to have such incredible community and district support! We are #LuckyAtLee!
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. Stay safe, stay healthy!

I am so proud of all our learners who participated and showed incredible leadership. Their energy, enthusiasm, and participation in making great speeches and answering questions on the spot during a virtual Town Hall Meeting made them all look and sound like our future is looking bright! Our election was conducted yesterday and we are happy to announce Pavan as our class representative and I know that his classmates will support him! Well Done and Congratulations!
