Tips & Tools for Valuable PD
Techniques for Professional Learning Part 1
Why should you attend?
Our current professional culture indicates that everyone is a professional learning facilitator. From the classroom teacher to the principal, from the campus coach to the secretary, or from the central office to the crossing guard, everyone is a leader in professional learning. The purpose of this highly interactive module is to examine the attributes of results-driven professional learning while practicing tips and tools for engaging the adult learner.
The Professional Development Department is excited to host TWO sessions of the popular Tips & Tools for Professional Learning Part 1. Facilitated by Learning Forward North Texas, participants will:

- Study the characteristics of adult learners and adult socialization.
- Be presented a menu of processes that model effective professional learning.
