Down On The Farm
...glitter pigs, a barn hunt and googly eyed horses...
Farm Week #1
We had a fun time making pigs, learning that animals can sleep in a big red barn, that we can blow away a feather but not a puzzle piece, and that everybody likes to dot paint themselves more than our paper :-)
The girls get super comfortable for their story by Renee.
Piggy faces by Addie and Millie
Uh oh, a pig sticker came off...
Science: Millie tries to blow her feather and then a puzzle piece
Science: Grace practices blowing her feather.
We loved celebrating Anndi’s bday with Sissy and her amazing ice cream bar
Alex helps build our class brick house for the three little pigs.
Wahoo-we are starting to line up in a line :-)
Are you not so glad we do projects at school and not at your house :-)
The class builds a brick wall for a farm.
We play with animals and feed them corn.
Addie enjoys the cleanup of the corn while still holding her favorite blue bucket.
We do kid yoga to relax before naptime-it is clearly successful :-)
Copeland can make his pouch into a balloon.
We learn about the world in Spanish.
Hope you all had a nice long weekend.
I love this verse below because it speaks to all of us as parents in the practice of calling to God and putting our hope in Him (plus it has cows and horses in it:-).
Psalm 147: 9-11
He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call. His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor his delight in the legs of the warrior; the Lord delights in those who fear Him. who put their hope in His unfailing love.
