Welcome Back!
2023-2024
Happy September! A new school year always brings a new sense of excitement. A new class, new friends, new things to learn! The MVSD Family Center would like to welcome all of our families back to a new school year! This year we'd like to invite you to our Self-Defense and Zumba classes. We will also be providing our Parent Technology classes and Math workshops. Below you will find our September Calendar of Events. Please email or call the Family Center if you have any questions.
Save the date for our first CPAC meeting on September 29, 2023 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Breakfast for Brain Power
Start the day by eating a healthy breakfast! Studies show that kids and teens who eat a balanced breakfast have better overall nutrition and health, fewer absences from school and higher classroom achievement! Students can concentrate on their schoolwork better when they’re not hungry.
Did you know that all students can eat breakfast for free at school? Whole grains, protein, fruit and milk are offered to all students on our morning Grab N Go Breakfast Bar. Encourage your child to try a popular new item this year on our breakfast menu - a breakfast smoothie made with berries, bananas, and yogurt served with a whole grain muffin.
On the weekends, consider cooking with your child and making a black bean burrito with beans, salsa, cilantro for a tasty breakfast on the go!
