The Skipper Scoop

Week of September 17th

SKIPPER NATION

After a fast weekend Monday is here and we are ready to go here at Harding. Thank to all who made the West Virginia football trip a possibility. This trip had a lot of moving parts and Harding sincerely thanks all of you who helped make it happen. Our teams and performers made us all proud with their sportsmanship, responsibility, and Skipper Spirit.

Have a great day Skippers,

Mrs. Rumbarger

Hooked on Education

The Hooked on Education crew has began their first project by taking a trip last Tuesday with Top Flight Fishing Charters. The results of the fishing trips will be at the annual fish fry at the Fairport Senior Center. Last year they served over 300 meals. The Design Lab is producing new fishing lures this year as well.

Way to go Lewin Uhlir for catching the biggest fish of the day!

Road Trip!

Thank you to all who helped our Skippers get to West Virginia on Friday night. Game three of football was a big one for everyone. Skipper football rocked a 50-0 win over Trinity Christian.

We got the GOLD!

Our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports( PBIS) program received the GOLD Award for last year! Harding is one of the few Middle and High schools in the area to win this prestigious award. The PBIS program is a multi-tiered approach to social, emotional, and behavior support. The purpose is to improve effectiveness, and equity of schools. Congratulations to all!
