Seniors
College-bound:
If you are going to college, you should have applied. (If you haven't, let's talk! We need to make it happen ASAP.)
Paying for college: If you've applied for college, you should be doing your FAFSA and scholarship applications. I can't advise you on FAFSA, but if we need to get some help, we can. If you haven't looked at the scholarship spreadsheet yet, please do. Let me know if you have any questions about it.
Going into the workforce:
If you're planning to go straight to work, you should be looking for available jobs and getting a resume and cover letter ready. Register for the High School to Hired event coming up in May. You'll have the opportunity to interview with employers in your interest area and might even be offered a job beginning right after graduation!
In the meantime, take a look at the full-time job board to get an idea of what might be available later. If you want to get your foot in the door at a business now, check out the part-time job board.
Military-bound:
If you're interested in joining the military, you need to speak with a recruiter and take the ASVAB. ASVAB is being offered on March 8th -- sign up here. If you need help connecting with a recruiter, come see me in room 110.
If you don't know what you want to do after high school, I can help! Please schedule a time to speak with me.
