Out of my Mind
By Courtney and Sienna
Should I read this book?
Yes, it's a good book. I will never look at another person in a wheel chair the same way again. It opens your eyes, mind and heart.People can't always express themselves the way they want to. This book has you cheering for the underdog! Also a few life lessons, especially never underestimate! I felt it was a very worthy read and do indeed recommend the book to anyone that is looking for a good book!
Eleven year old Melody is the smartest kid in the whole school but NO ONE knows it. Most people - her teachers and doctors included - don’t think she’s capable of learning, and up until recently her school days consisted of listening to the same preschool level of learning. If only she could speak up, if only she could tell people what she thinks and knows…but she can’t, because Melody can’t talk. Melody can’t walk or write either. Being stuck inside her own head is making Melody litterly go ‘Out of her Mind’. At last melody has a voice but not everyone around her is ready to hear it. When an accident happens will Melody face her school or not? Find out when you read ‘Out of my Mind
