Eastridge Elementary School May 15, 2020
Hello Eastridge Families!
As the school year comes to an end, it is important to us to return your student’s personal items. The district has developed a plan for item retrieval similar to technology device distribution. All schools will be distributing student's personal items via a drive through service the week of June 1st. If you have personal items at Eastridge you want to retreive, please complete this survey at (bit.ly/endofyearpickup) to assist us in making sure we locate those items. Our Eastridge staff will be packing up these items over the next few weeks to prepare for distribution the week of June 1st.
The Indiana Department of Education is collecting information to help schools plan and prepare for the next school year. Please help us in our planning efforts by completing the following Parent and Caregiver Survey. Warren Township Family Survey Link.
The MSD Warren Township is proud to announce that we will be partnering with the Marion County Health Department to provide drive thru COVID-19 testing for our community. Testing will continue on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 6AM - 2PM. Testing is free and registration is required. You can register onsite or online at MarionHealth.org/INDYCOVID.
Please stay connected by visiting our website, downloading the MSD Warren mobile app, viewing our district social media twitter and facebook accounts for updated information.
Continue to be safe Rocket Families!
How is my student’s attendance determined for Learn at Home?
All students are expected to engage in Learn At Home Activities to be marked present for the week. We will be taking attendance on a weekly basis. As a reminder, Warren is using two waiver days per week (Mondays and Wednesdays). When a student engages in Learn at Home activities they will be marked “present” for the week. We define engagement as meeting one or all of the following:
● Submitting classroom assignments
● Attending virtual class meetings
● Communicating with teachers in any other format
Whoever you are, wherever you are from--YOU count.
