Oops
I know it is suppose to help by spreading out grade levels at recess, but it does not seem to be a good idea to have 40-50 kids with only one adult. The adult doesn't have someone to support them and the students cannot all be seen/approached/hear or be heard if they only have one adult for an entire soccer field/softball field.
Can the field groups be combined so there is another adult witness/support. For example, 3 classes on the top (black top/playground) and 3 down on the field (soccer or softball) or 2 on top, 3 on the bottom, however the grade levels sort out.
Response
Putting multiple classes together does not work for every grade level. There are multiple reasons why some of the grade levels have been split the way that they have. The issues at recess will be discussed as a staff soon. We still need to hire one more recess para as well and we are working on recruiting a few parents to help with games.

Support Calls
When someone does arrive for the support call, please remember to be kind. The goal of any call is to help the student get regulated and to make sure that the adult who made the call is okay. While having a dysregulated student in the classroom can be stressful it isn't fair to treat the person who shows up to help with disrespect. It can be easy to show frustration or say things in front of kids to indicate our frustration. Talking negatively about a student in front of students is never acceptable and only models for students that it is okay to speak that way. If you are getting stressed and overwhelmed then ask for a break. Any administrator, counselor, ESC, or SPED teacher is happy to take over your classroom if you need a break.
Remember we are a team and we are all in it together. Everyone is doing their best with the strategies and skills that they have. The more we work together the better things can be for our students and the more we model positive interactions the more our students will see how to work collaboratively.
