A bacterium that occurs mainly in the intestine, especially a stereotype causing food poisoning. People became infected mostly through contaminated water or foods, especially meat, poultry, and eggs.
How do people get Salmonella?
You can get Salmonella by eating contaminated raw meats and eggs and unpasteurized raw milk, fruits, and vegetables.
Who are the most common victims to prey upon salmonella?
Children, especially infants, are most likely to get sick from it.
Where is Salmonella mostly likely to be found?
Salmonella is commonly found in raw food products that come from animals, such as eggs, egg products, meat, meat products, unpasteurized milk, or other unpasteurized dairy products. Thorough cooking and processing effectively kills salmonella bacteria.
Things you need to know about Salmonella
You need to clean, cook, chill, separate when you are making the food. When you clean, you have to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds. When you separate, you need too avoid cross-contamination with other foods. When you cook, you need to cook your food thoroughly so you wont have Salmonella in your food. When you chill, the product must be refrigerated or frozen promptly. You need to do all of this with your food so you don't end up getting Salmonella.

Pains: in the abdomen or muscles
Whole body: chills, dehydration, fatigue, fever, or loss of appetite
Gastrointestinal: diarrhea or blood in stool
