School Librarians are a MUST!
This just in...
In this information-overloaded society we live in, school-aged students are having a harder time distinguishing between credible, reliable sources and information posing as credible, reliable sources. But do not fear! School librarians are here to help these students navigate the mean streets of the information superhighway!
So, what can school librarians do?
Collaborate
By being able to work with other professionals who have the students' best interest at heart, school librarians are able to both suggest, guide, and support the curriculum of the classroom teachers.
Teach

Strengthen
School librarians are able to expound on the skills that students seem to have embedded in their nature--that sixth-sense of working with technology--to build within them the deeper, real-life skills that will help them to be better prepared for the real world, whether it is higher education or the workforce.
