IMPORTANT DATES COMING UP - May 28, June 4 & June 10

Attention to all BMHS & BMMS Students. A reminder that the final day to check out library books will be May 28. All library books are due by June 4. BMHS students should return all their textbooks by the last day of school on June 10. Seniors need to return all textbooks and library books by May 28. Please return you overdue items to the library media centers to avoid being charged in Infinite Campus. Any questions and/or concerns, please contact the library media center staff in your building.

April is Time for Poetry

Every year during the month of April, we celebrate poetry. Poetry comes in all styles and forms from the Japanese Hyku to Shakespeare's lovely sonnets. Whichever you prefer, poetry is a unique for of writing that embraces use words to express thoughts and emotions. Below are a few links to some great poetry sites for teens. These sites publish poetry written by teens for teens. Take a poetry break and read this inspiring poetry during April and beyond. Maybe you have a poem to submit. Many of these sites allow for submissions by poets just like you.

Sharon Creech is an award winning author of books for young adults and teens. She began writing for adults but after publishing her first book to young adults she never looked back. Ebooks for BMMS & BMHS Students Summer Reading Pleasure

Students can now access new ebooks for their reading please now and this coming summer from two new sources. Junior Library Guild has a selection of approximately 150 new ebooks each month. These ebooks can be read on your chromebook and/or on the IOS or Android app for your device. The apps can be found in your device store. Along with Junior Library Guild Digital, both libraries have a collection of ebooks with MackinVIA. MackinVIA has a collection of over 100 ebooks for student to download to their devices with the appropriate app or chromebook. Below are the links to each of these collections along with the username and login informaiton.
