Mrs. Summers' Newsletter

January 15, 2016

Its Been a Great Week!

We finished our story "The Happy Lion" this week and talked about inventions. We continue to work with poetry. This week we worked on mood and point of view. In math, the second graders are continuing to work on multiplication and division.

Things to Look Forward to Next Week!

We will start getting into our new chapter book and really applying our knowledge of economics. We will continue our poetry unit. I plan to have this finished by the first or second week in February . In math, the second graders will learn about the the relationship between multiplication and division.

Reminders

We do NOT have school Monday, January 18 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
