Tomorrow - Community Ceremony & Pajama Day!

Tomorrow is our December Community Ceremony, which begins at 8:15 a.m. We will recognize December birthdays and present a check to the Children's Emergency Shelter for this month's quarters.

It is also Pajama Day! Please pay close attention to the following information, so you know what to expect.....

Primary students MAY NOT bring blankets and pillows to school. They CAN wear whatever type of slippers they prefer to go with their pajamas. For this day only, character slippers and bobble-head slippers are allowed.

Elementary Students MAY bring blankets and pillows. They will watch a movie in the lower elementary classrooms.

Stuffed animals and toys ARE NOT allowed for any aged child.

Tuition Statements

Tuition statements for January will go home in Friday folders tomorrow. If you opted to fundraise for a reduction in tuition, but did not meet the $250 fall requirement, the difference will appear on your January statement and is due with January tuition.

Please note that the school office will close at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow afternoon and remain closed until Monday, January 5. All tuition due during that time should be mailed to the school. We will pick up the mail over break and note when payments arrive. Payments late by 5 days or more will incur a $25 late fee.

Operation Gratitude Update

Our elementary students had a wonderful visit yesterday to the Buddy Smith Home (our November project). They presented an abbreviated version of November's Community Ceremony and sang a few extra songs. The residents were really appreciative of our visit and the students enjoyed it as well.

Our January organization is the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, a program of the United Way. We look forward to tieing their work together with our focus on literacy through the Read-a-thon and other related activities.

Thank You!

On behalf of all the staff, thank you for your donations to the Teacher Holiday Fund. We greatly appreciate your generosity and support. Thank you for entrusting us with your child's education.
