Argyle ISD Hosting Facility Ribbon Cutting Monday
The event will include a performance by Argyle High School's Remedy A Cappella and tours of the building will follow the official dedication. Refreshments will also be provided. This event will be in advance of a regular School Board meeting which will begin the open session at 7 p.m.
Taking A Look! 100 Colleges Attend This Year's Fair
This week Argyle High School juniors and seniors had a great opportunity to look around the country for their future. Colleges and universities from around the nation were on hand for this year's College Fair at Argyle High School. The event was held in the Argyle High School cafeteria and allowed AHS students the chance to talk with recruiters and pick up materials and promotional items from all of the schools participating.
Also, a special thanks to the AHS Culinary Art students and teacher Alicia Greenwood. They prepared breakfast and beverages for the recruiters.
IMPORTANT BUS NOTICE
Only authorized personnel and registered eligible bus riders are permitted to ride the bus. Students WILL NOT be allowed to ride any bus other than their assigned bus or exit the bus at any stop other than their assigned stop.
Emergency transportation may be granted on a temporary basis by the Assistant Director of Transportation. Notes from parents/guardians will not be accepted as authorization to ride a bus.
Canyon Falls Drive Speed Limits
The speed limit on Canyon Falls Drive during non school zone times is 35 MPH. During school zone times the speed limit is 20 MPH. The Flower Mound Police Department has increased traffic enforcement due to speeding vehicles on Canyon Falls Drive.
Get Ready! HOCO Is Coming Soon
Homecoming Week is coming soon! It will be held the week of Oct. 3.
HOMECOMING PEP RALLY/CARNIVAL: The Homecoming Pep Rally and Carnival will be held Wednesday, Oct. 5 at Eagle Stadium and in the Argyle Middle School parking lot. The night will start with the pep rally inside the stadium at 5:30 PM and the carnival will follow.
HOMECOMING GAME: It will be Friday, Oct. 7 vs. Lake Dallas and will be the first home district game in Class 5A for the Eagles. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the district website.
HOMECOMING DANCE: Tickets are now available for the AHS Homecoming Dance! The dance will take place at 7:30 PM on Saturday, Oct. 8 in the AHS cafeteria. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets. Please include the name and grade of the ticket holder when purchasing. Your name must be on our list in order to get into the dance. Ticket sales will close at 11:59 PM Wednesday, Oct. 5.
DATE CHANGE: Argyle High School Graduation Moved to May 20
The Class of 2023 Graduation date has been changed. Due to a scheduling change with the UIL State Academics Meet in Austin in May, Argyle High School was forced to reschedule. Graduation for the Class of 2023 will be held Saturday, May 20 at 10 a.m. at the UNT Coliseum.
We apologize for this schedule adjustment. Many of the AHS seniors could have been forced to miss graduation to participate in UIL State Academics Meet if graduation was not moved to another date.
FEEDBACK! HS Committee Wants To Hear From You
Here's your chance to be part of the process in the evaluation of high school options for the future in Argyle ISD. The Argyle ISD High School Advisory & Planning Committee has started the process of evaluating high school configuration options. The committee would like to hear your feedback.
Simply share your thoughts, configuration considerations or ideas for the committee by commenting via this Google Feedback Form. Argyle ISD administration will monitor responses and share them with the committee at upcoming meetings.
If you would like to remain anonymous, that can be filled out under the "Name" question. We value your feedback in this process and thank you for taking time to fill out the form.

Belle's Tea Party - Registration Closing Friday
Registration is closing Friday, Sept. 16 for Belle's Tea Party. This is your chance to meet the characters from Beauty and The Beast. The cost is $35 and space is limited.

Argyle High School parents be sure to mark your calendars for open house on Monday, Sept. 26. It will be held from 6-7 p.m. The event will also include a AHS PTO meeting from 6-6:30 p.m.

Argyle ISD's Transportation Department is now hiring bus drivers! Starting pay is $20.35 an hour and AISD provides paid training at $12.75 an hour for new drivers.

We've got spirit, how 'bout you?! Make sure and stop in with the AHS Cheerleaders to purchase a spirit ribbon ($2) and pin ($3) at all of the elementary campuses on Fridays! Cash or Venmo is accepted.
Eagles Battle Montgomery In Belton
The Argyle Eagle football team travels for the third consecutive week. Friday night the No. 1-ranked Eagles battle Montgomery at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Argyle (3-0) is coming off a 31-15 victory last week at Grapevine. Montgomery (0-3) enters the game after a 35-28 loss to Dayton.
Kickoff is 7 p.m. at Crusader Stadium. All tickets are $10 (cash or credit) at the stadium gates.

Eagle Tennis Blanks Birdville
The Argyle Eagle tennis team continues its great start to district play. Argyle defeated Birdville this week 19-0 and moved to 4-0 in district and in sole possession of first place!
The Eagles remain the No. 8 team in the state in Class 5A. This is Argyle's first year playing in 5A.
Lady Eagles Face Colleyville Heritage Friday
The Argyle Lady Eagle volleyball team travels to face Colleyville Heritage on Friday. The varsity plays at 6:30 p.m. The Lady Eagles are coming off a sweep of Richland on Tuesday! Argyle is 23-10 overall and 2-0 in District 7-5A.
