Happy Halloween!

Greetings!

Things are going great here at Adrian Elementary! With the cold weather approaching, we are grateful the Boiler Project is nearing completion and that we have heat in the building. The teachers have been busy preparing for the Fall Festival, which will be held on October 24 from 5:00-7:00 pm. There will be a wide variety of activities happening that evening, as students are encouraged to dress up for the costume parade which will be held at 6:45 pm. A hot dog meal will also be available, consisting of a hot dog, chips, and a water (cost = free will offering). There will also be games and other activities for students to participate in throughout the evening as well, so mark your calendars. As always, if you have any questions, feel free to contact me or anyone at the school. Have a great October!

National School Hot Lunch Week

Adrian Elementary and Lunchtime Solutions would like to invite you to join your child for lunch as we celebrate “National School Hot Lunch Week” during the week of October 21st through 25th.


We sent the letter home with all the details in your students Friday Folder today. If you would like another form, please let your student's teacher know. Please return the forms to the office by Wednesday October 16th.


Please Note: This year we are requiring that any adult and/or sibling that will be eating with their school age child, to come to the Elementary Office to purchase a lunch ticket. In the office, you will be able to pay for a lunch by check or cash (exact amount appreciated) or you can charge it to the child’s lunch account, only if sufficient funds are available. Once you have received a ticket you will show it to the line staff and hand it to the cashier.

We are looking forward to having you join us for lunch!

Mid Trimester #1

Mid-trimester #1 is today Oct. 11th. Grades were sent home today Friday, October 11th with students in grades 3rd through 5th. Be sure to check your student's Friday folder for their progress report. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact your child's teacher.

Drop-off Reminder

Just a reminder: for safety reasons, we ask that if you are going to get out of your vehicle you park in the parking lot and not park in the drop-off zone. We would like to keep the stationary time for the vehicles in the drop-off zone minimal to enable the flow of traffic to continue. When vehicles are parked in the drop-off zone for an extended period of time (parent gets out of vehicle) and cars go around others, the safety of our students is jeopardized. The safety of your children is a top priority of ours, and taking small measures as such, help to promote a safe environment. Thank you!

Cooler Weather Ahead

As the days begin to get cooler, please don’t forget to send warmer clothing with your student. The students will be going out for recess every day, weather permitting, so remember to dress them appropriately.

*Students can sign up for one day or multiple days. Drop ins are always welcome; we just ask that you contact the school by 1pm that day and bring $3 at pick up.
