Big picture

Information Technology Students Participate in the CS4RI Summit at URI

The CS4RI summit returned in-person at the University of Rhode Island Kingston campus on December 21, 2022! The summit is held each year to excite and inspire students about the possibilities of Computer Science in their future. As a CS4RI High School Grant school, the EPHS CTC played a prominent role in the summit hosting a booth to showcase our incredible Cybersecurity Program, and sending our underclassmen to breakout sessions to learn about other programs.

RI Education Commissioner, Angelica Infante-Green was especially impressed by our booth and spent several minutes discussing the EPHS CTC Information Technology program with Seniors Victorino Gomes, Tommy Cox, and Nate Desrosiers.

The state pin is widely distributed throughout the year to thousands of people and will be the official trading pin at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference. Congratulations to Abigail as she will also have the opportunity to represent our state as a 2023 member of Team Rhode Island.
