Our Jog-a-thon Is On Wednesday!
On October 4th we will have our third ever Jog-a-thon! WE ARE SO EXCITED!
This is fun opportunity for each grade level to run for 20 minutes in the hopes of running as many laps as possible to earn as much in sponsorship donations as possible for their classroom.
Jog a thon instructions and envelopes have gone home. If you need a new one, please let us know and we will send it home on Monday. Students will have this week and next to get as many sponsors as possible; sponsors will donate either for each lap ran (and money will be collected after the race) or at a flat rate.
Another effective way for sponsors to donate is through digital donation site. Below I have added the direct link to the donation page for each classroom; this is an easier way to get more donations from those near and far that will go directly to class:
Ms. Miles's TK/K Jogathon Link
Mr. Pippen's Gr K/1 Jogathon Link
Ms. Knight's Gr K Jogathon Link
Mr. Reynoso's Gr 1 Jogathon Link
Ms. Chloe's Gr 1 Jogathon Link
Ms. Jackie's Gr 2 Jogathon Link
Ms. Miller's Gr 3 Jogathon Link
Ms. Maramonte's Gr 3 Jogathon Link
Ms. Fenimore's Gr 4 Jogathon Link
Ms. Johnson's Gr 4/5 Jogathon Link
Mr. Smith's Gr 5 Jogathon Link
Ms. Ress' All Grades Jogathon Link
On Oct 4th students will run as many laps as possible during their grade level designated twenty minute timespan. Please see the schedule below as we want parents and family members to join us! Meet us on the field to cheer us on, bring signs, or even run with us! A letter will go home with that day with the total amount of laps that they completed during the job a ton; this information is needed for anyone who sponsored per lap.
Time/Grade Level:
9:00-9:45: TK/Kinder (includes Mr. Pippen's entire class)
9:50-10:35: Third Grade and Ms. Ress
10:45-11:25: First/Second Grade (first grade moved due to heat concerns later on)
11:40-12:20: Fourth/Fifth Grade
On Oct 11th students will return their donation envelopes to their classroom teacher where they will be collected; the digital platform will close on October 13th at 12:00 a.m.
I have recorded a video below that describes the process so feel free to watch it! If you have any questions or are able to volunteer, please feel free to reach out to Ms. Burke or the office staff Jackie.
Thank you so much in advance,
Mrs. Burke
