Sixth and seventh-grade students attended the Student Council Election speeches. They had an opportunity to hear from each student running for office. We are very proud of all of our candidates.
Next year’s Student Council officers are:
Treasurer: Pablo Vargass
Secretary: Aaryan Roy
Vice President: Shreyansh "Shrey" Sudhireddy
President: Andrew Guzman Saldana
Mr. Mark Daniels, Superintendent of Schools, served as a guest chef in Ms. Lane's class at Melvin H. Kreps Middle School. On the menu was grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.
This week, all MHK students are participating in planting a garden with our Project Green Club. Project Green has been busily preparing one of our courtyards to become a native plant garden. In addition, the garden will be named the AJ Collins Memorial Garden in honor of his passing in the fall. We miss him and hope the garden will bloom and bring joy.
The Ethel McKnight Kids Heart Challenge was a success. They celebrated the fundraiser with some fun!
