History of the White House
The construction of the White House started in 1792. The White House housed 42 Presidents since John Adams. Sadly President George Washington didn't get to live in the White House. The White House has been burned down in the War 1812 and the reconstruction started almost immediately. There was many additions and restorations to the White House that makes it what it is today.
Value of the White House
The White House is a very important historic place because it was here since the 19th century. Many important decisions have been made there such as joining WWII after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. It is also where the President makes it's living after being elected. If the The White House was on sale it would be worth an estimated 320 million dollars.
