Rachel's 2015 Graduation
You are invited!
You are invited to Rachel Ofner's Graduation Ceremony!
This year has been filled with many ups, downs, accomplishments and lessons. Please help me celebrate finally being done with school by attending my graduation ceremony. This day has been long awaited for. I am graduating in 3.5 years with the equivalent unit count of a 6 year program with all As. Needless to say, I studied my butt off and will continue to study for the CPA and CFE licensing exams I will be taking later this year.
Super Scholasticgirl
My biggest academic achievement occurred during an awards ceremony at school. The Dean was presenting 6 awards. I received the first one and went and sat back down in my chair. When I got called for the second award, the Dean just asked me to stay on stage. He then proceeded to hand me a stack of the rest of the awards. These included the CalCPA Scholarship recipient of $2,000, highest GPA, and other honors recognition.

This Year's Highlights
This
Dipper has brought me so much joy this year.

She has been my companion.
Dipper...
And my motivation to continue studying or face the wrath of her disappointed looks.
Working as an Intern for PriceWaterhouse Coopers changed my life. Working with the #1 accounting firm in the world opened new challenges and raised the bar for me.
I have never had a company invest so much time and money in me. They showed me that not only could I accomplish a lot mentally, I could outperform many of my colleagues.
As a result, they gave me the tools to reach my maximum potential and extended me an official, accelerated offer, which I accepted. I will be starting with them January 3, 2016.
I had the opportunity to come back as an intern for a company in St. Louis, Missouri this summer as well. Living in the state for the past two summers really opened me up to the idea of living in the midwest.
Granted, driving 26 hours to St. Louis from Arizona was no easy task. However, I had a co-pilot on the way home this summer after I rescued her in St. Louis.
The beauty of this city has never ceased to amaze me. It's a mix of country and open greenery and lakes but also has the downtown feel. Because I missed the state so much, I asked PwC to transfer me to their downtown office in St. Louis. I will be an official Missouri resident as of 12/30/15!
2nd Place National Winners
After spending an entire semester developing a proposal surrounding the ethics involved with High-Frequency Trading, my University sponsored me and my team to travel to Baltimore to compete in a two day ethics competition for Bloomberg and the IACBE. This was the most mentally challenging competition I have done in my entire life but it taught me a lot about the power of coffee and teamwork.
Laguna Seca Porsche Rennsport Reunion
I got to meet up with my dad and his friend/client Erich to watch some cool cars speed around the racetrack and watch Erich's car race. Not only was I extremely impressed with the expert driving skills of all the racers, I also got to be the official team photographer!
