Happy November!
Peace Process
We are introducing the "Peace Process" to all classes this November. After looking at our behavior data, many referrals were a result of students not knowing how to communicate with each other when there were minor problems. See below for a poster you can use at home to practice the Peace Process.
Reminders:
COVID Test Kits
The district is offering COVID test kids to anyone who would like one for testing over the Thanksgiving break. They are available in the office.
Reminder from the Nurse
If your child is feeling sick, please keep them home. Also, keep kids home until 24 hours fever/vomit/diarrhea free without medication before sending them back to school.
WILDCAT WAY AWARDS- NOVEMBER 9TH
BAG YOUR BOOKS!
With rainy weather upon us, we are starting to see WET library books returned to the library every day! Please provide your Wildcat with a large plastic bag to protect their library books from the elements (and yourself from pesky library fines). 2.5 gallon zip-top bags work beautifully for this purpose. If you prefer, bags can be purchased in the library for $1 each. Thank you!
LUNCH BUNCH-VOLUNTEER AT SCHOOL!
Altamont Creek Elementary is looking for several adult volunteers to become part of our Lunch Bunch. These volunteers will help assist and supervise students during their lunch break. Please sign up for as few or as many time slots as you are able. We appreciate all the help!
Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!
You must be a cleared volunteer in Raptor.

Native American Heritage Month
November is Native American Heritage Month, or as it is commonly referred to, American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month.
The month is a time to celebrate rich and diverse cultures, traditions, and histories and to acknowledge the important contributions of Native people. Heritage Month is also an opportune time to educate the general public about tribes, to raise a general awareness about the unique challenges Native people have faced both historically and in the present, and the ways in which tribal citizens have worked to conquer these challenges.
