Montana Catholic Schools Weekly

September 7, 2014

This is my first weekly email bulletin sent as Superintendent. I plan to send out interesting articles that I find each week (most of them through twitter--feel free to follow me @tduhl). You are welcome to send me any articles you think are worthy for inclusion. This week's edition has a lot of links since I've been gathering articles all summer. The articles will be in the areas of education (leadership, instructional practice, technology, standards, etc) as well as articles about parenting, the Church, spirituality, creativity, or anything I find especially interesting.

I imagine some of them will be thought-provoking, some might be controversial, and some will be funny. All in all, I hope they will enrich your own professional growth. Feel free to share this with your community and if you have others who would like to be on the email list, feel free to send me their emails. I'll also include pictures, my schedule, contact information, and upcoming events. On my to-do list is to create a website where I can "park" these newsletters so you can refer back to them as a resource. Enjoy!

Finally, a note on Pat Haggarty. Pat has been a great host and has been devoted to a smooth transition. I have found him to be professional, knowledgeable, funny, and completely devoted to our Montana Catholic schools. I hope you each will thank him in your own way on Wednesday as we send him off to his new adventure. Seattle is lucky to have him and I know he'll be tremendously successful there.
