Week 15
Week 15 Notes
This week was a wonderful one. While we all had our eye on the break by Friday afternoon, I'm proud to say that we kept our focus on academics throughout the week. At the end of the week, we ended with the Geography Bee, Gift of Time, and plenty of sweets. On behalf of the RMS staff, I would like to wish you all a safe and healthy holiday break! Enjoy the time with friends and family and I look forward to seeing well-rested students in the new year.
Question of the Week
Whenever we near the holidays, I can see the levels of stress rise amongst the students, staff and community. While the holidays can bring a ton of joy and excitement, it can all bring a lot of stress and anxiety. This week, I encourage you to ask your child "What are most excited to take a break from?" and "What are you going to miss the most while you are on break?" While I know most students welcome a break from homework and projects, I hope there are things about life at school that your son or daughter will miss while we are out.
Thank You,
Jeff Carron

After School Basketball Game Attendance
- If your child would like to stay after, please provide a written note (email is fine). Children without written permission will not be allowed to stay after.
- Students must not leave school grounds if they plan to stay over. In the past, students have attempted to walk to the local gas stations to get snacks. Just as we do during the school day, students must remain on school grounds when under RMS supervision.
- Students are welcome to bring snacks from home, but must eat them in the cafeteria.
- Please make sure to check schedules and remain available to respond to phone calls to pick your child up, if necessary.
Thank you for your cooperation!
