Accreditation Update

Thank you to all of you who pulled information together last month as we prepare for our accreditation visit!! Our accreditation visit is scheduled for February 9-10, 2016. The committee will report their findings to staff on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. in the Gold Downstairs Lecture Hall. As we prepare to welcome our visiting committee, please have conversations with students, so they are aware of our visiting team and their purpose. Committee members will be visiting classrooms during their time on campus. Please reassure students that the committee is there to observe classrooms overall and not individual students. We are proud of students and proud of our school! As we move closer to the date, we will be providing more detailed information on the visit.

Master Schedule Development 2016-2017

We are continuing discussions on master schedule development for the 2016-2017 school year. I encourage you to attend this week's meetings on course of study and scheduling (Monday) as well as advisory (Thursday). Your thoughts and insight are critical to this process, and we welcome your input!

Combuter Based Testing Infrastructure Trial

The FSA Insfrastructure Trial is an opportunity for districts and schools to prepare for the operational computer-based FSA administrations by simulating test-day network utilization, determining any school or district issues, and confirming that all workstations that will be used for testing can run the appropriate software. In short, we will need all students on their Chromebooks to simulate the testing environment. The CBT Infrastructure Trial is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016. During this week's and next week's faculty meetings, we will receive training in preparation for this trial. More information will be provided during the faculty meetings, but please mark your calendar in preparation for the trial!
