Audrey Hepburn

The life, and events of an amazing woman who was brave enough to reach out, and help those around her.

Helping the Dutch Resistance!

During Audrey's young years she preformed ballet and earned money secretly. The doors and windows were shut closed, and the audience did not clap after the performances. All money that Audrey, and other secret performers turned whatever earned money they had over to the Dutch Resistance, helping against the Nazis.

Becoming A UNICEF Ambassador

After the war Audrey became dedicated to the United Nations International Children's Emergency Foundation. Her dedication led her to be the ambassador for UNICEF. Soon after becoming ambassador she left to Ethiopia, and helped children in need of basic necessities.

Freedom Rings!

For Audrey's efforts she won the Medal of Freedom. For helping the Dutch Resistance, and for being involved in UNICEF, and the children of Ethiopia she won the Medal Of Freedom.
