What It Looks Like
The Eastern Screech Owl is a small, stocky bird with a large head and almost no neck. It's wings are rounded; it's tail is short and square. It's pointed ear tufts are often raised, lending it's head a distinctive silhouette .
Where It Lives
It lives in open woodlands. It will nest in forests. It will also nest in towns, cemeteries, parks, suburbs, and scrub.

Diet And Prey
The Eastern Screech Owls prey and diet is mice. They also like to eat bugs, and insects. They really like amphibians, some birds, and reptiles.
