PIP This Week
Dear Raider Nation,
Sorry for the late newsletter everyone. Today was an exciting day as I had the honor of accompanying five of our football players to opening day for the Baltimore Ravens. Our student athletes – Chris Bookter, Harrison Feldman, Jordan Fore, Bryce Jamison, and Jonathan Watkins participated in the Ravens Half-Time Combine against South River H.S. Our players represented Atholton well! Thank you Justin Carey for your leadership. We now have to follow this season to see if their time of :38 sec holds up against other high schools.
This week we have a staff meeting scheduled for tomorrow and a PIP session on Tuesday. The staff meeting will be not be a formal meeting. Everyone will be required to use this time to complete ALL of your modules. This is designated time to finish each of the safe schools modules assigned to you as well as the video from MSDE. If you have already completed your modules, enjoy this gift of time. A report will be run at the end of the week to verify everyone has completed their assigned modules.
I am excited for the PIP session this Tuesday in the Career Center. There are two new school-wide initiatives that the PLC will unveil that will revolve around our AHS Values of Relationships, Achievement, Integrity, and Diversity. Please mark your calendar and attend one of the sessions on Tuesday.
Lastly, a reminder for you to join both our PTSA and our Social Committee. Both organizations provide support whether monetarily, that pick-me-up treat, or a nice lunch or dinner. Join PTSA here and please see Natalie Kelly for more information about the Social Committee.
See you tomorrow!
