Yearbooks for Sale
Pre-ordered yearbooks were delivered to students on Wed., May 3. We have a small amount of extra yearbooks available on a first come, first served basis. They will be sold at the following times for $20 until they run out:
- Tue., May 9 from 3:30 to 4:00 p.m.
- Thur., May 11 starting at 9:05 a.m. through the volunteer breakfast
- Fri., May 12 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and during Variety Show intermission
Yearbooks will not be sold via Kidmail.
Will you be moving this summer?
Please stop in the office to withdraw your child if you plan to move out of the district.
If you move within the district, please advise the office with changes in address or telephone numbers.
Volunteers please join us!
Battery Recycling Drop Off
When you enter the outer doors of Blue Ash Elementary you will notice the sign and bin directly to your right. Please feel free to make use of this and drop off any used household batteries that you may have.

Variety Show Updates
BAE families! We're coming to the home stretch for our Variety Show next Friday, May 12th at 7 PM! We are so excited this year! Our theme "The World Is A Stage, Music From Around The World" is sure to be one of our best shows yet! We have a few surprises and special guests!
If your child is participating this year, here is some important rehearsal information for next week;
Act 1 Tech rehearsal, Tuesday 3:45 - 5:00
Act 2 Tech rehearsal, Wednesday 3:45 - 5:00
Dress rehearsal for all participants, Thursday 3:45 -6:00 PM
Please send your child to school with a snack on and a water bottle at all rehearsals. You should received an email with the ACT your child will be performing and the rehearsal schedule.

School Supply Kits
We are pleased to announce that Blue Ash Elementary will be offering the convenient services of school supply kits for the 2017-18 school year. The kits include all of the teacher approved items for next year. Take the hassle out of school supply shopping this summer with a kit for your child that will be delivered to his/her classroom before the first day of school. You have the option of ordering online or you can complete and return the form that will be distributed this week.

Night Owls
Please join the Night Owls at the last meeting of the school year on Monday, 5/8/2017 at 7:30 pm at the BAE Media Center. We will work on various projects throughout the school.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who participated this year! It's been a great year and your contribution is much appreciated. It's never too late to join!
The Night Owls group is a great way to meet other parents while helping out our school. No experience is necessary and new members are always welcome!
Volunteers Needed
Volunteers are needed to help with the BAE Staff Wellness Event on Tuesday May 9. The hours are 11:30-2:30. . Please see the sign up genius link for more information and to volunteer.

Optional MAP Administration
Sycamore Schools is offering an optional summer MAP administration for grades 2-8. Please click on the link for more details and to register your child for this opportunity. If you have any questions, please email Mindy Zellner, District Gifted Coordinator, at zellnerm@sycamoreschools.org.
Apply for Lego League
Applications for FIRST LEGO League (FLL) are now available for students entering grades 4 to 8 in all elementary schools, Greene, and Junior High. FLL involves research, robotics, presentations, and teamwork. Download the form at http://sycamorerobotics.weebly.com/ and follow all instructions. Applications need to be postmarked by Saturday, May 20. We also need volunteer coaches. Please indicate on the form if you are interested or know someone interested.

Upcoming Bonus Shopping Hours: Wednesday, May 10, 6-8 P.M.
We will also have Bonus Shopping Hours three nights the following week:
5/16, 5/17, 5/18 (6-8 pm each night).
The last day the store will be open for this school year is Friday, May 19.
