WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students)
Please join us for our 4th annual Donuts with Dad the morning of Friday, January 20th in the multi-purpose room from 7:00 - 7:45 am. It's an opportunity for dads and their kids to enjoy some donuts along with coffee, milk or water before school starts. We will have the sign up calendar on hand for dads to sign up for dates for the remainder of the school year.
It's a come and go as you please event so just stop by when you can. The multi-purpose room is located just inside the front entrance doors on the left.
Please contact Kevin Rump at MWEWatchDOGS@outlook.com if you have any questions about the event or the Watch D.O.G.S. program in general.
INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL AND HEALTH FAIR
The International Festival and Health Fair is a wonderful event that celebrates Meadow Wood's rich cultural diversity. It is a fun filled evening where students and families share and learn about cultures and customs of various countries.
During the event, students will be issued passports and be able to visit booths where they can sample food and learn about a country's language, history, geographical location, flag and much more. There will also be games and fun filled activities that are sure to delight everyone.
Let us not forget the health fair where you can get vision, cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose testing, as well as, free flu shots. The kids are also sure to love Fire Station 78 exhibit.
There will be Chick- Fil A meals on sale. You may choose between a Nugget Meal or Sandwich meal. Meals include chips and water.
Please join us on Thursday, 26 January between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. for this fun filled event.
