Rties of Passage
During this time an elder or grandpates picks the name. Elder gets the name by entering a time of fasting, meditation, prayer, or dreaming. This represent their relation to the great spirit. They can change it when they get older because they might not connect to the great spirit.

This is related to Christianity because when we are born someone older then us picks our name for us. Also we can change our name if we want to.
Puberty/ Vision Quest
young people go on a spirit walk. This spirit walk they learn solitary spiritual experience. When parents and elders say they are ready that is when they go on the walk.
They do this so a young man will be accepted adults into the community.

This is related to Christianity because when we share a beer with our father we now think that we are accepted into the community. But this doesn't related to us because we don't go on a spirit walk when we hit puberty.
Main Festivals
Celebrate a special event ex birth, weddings, or death. This involves giving gifts like a blankets, bead work, or crafts to family, friends or visitors.

Potlatch is related to Christianity because we all ways give gifts to people when they get married or have a baby to celebrate new life.
Harvest Feast
They give thanks to mother nature. They do this to recognizes the spirits that acted on their behalf to give them food and renewing the earth by prayers, chants, and dance. it is a fest where everyone eats.

Harvest fest relates to Christianity because we give thanks to all the thing that mother nature has done for us.
Everyday life of practicing that person in that faith
Aboriginal people mainly pass down their knowledge orally. A shaman/medicine person is a physical and spiritual healer who performs ceremonies using knowledge of medicines and herbs. The shaman also remembers and tells the spiritual teachings of the community.

This is related to Christianity because when we learn about Christians normally a teacher pass down their knowledge of Christians orally.
