Last Day of Add/Drop
After today, you're set...in your classes anyways. If you're hoping to make a last minute change to your schedule, don't forget you'll need written professor permission (include your TUID, course number, and CRN).
Also, remember: we do not, in fact, live here, so getting this permission to us before we leave at 5 is pretty important so we can process the changes.
Otherwise, like I said: YOU'RE SET. Now do great things in those classes.

Honors Scholars
Really, who hasn't!? Probably most people, but you're honors students, so we expect you might have. And to help you, we have the Honors Scholars program. Click here to learn more about the program.

Multimedia Support Specialist
The Multimedia Support Specialist assists the Office of Digital Education’s course development team prepare, digitally enhance, and deploy courses for online delivery. The Specialist will mainly assist in-studio and on-location video recordings and post-production. The Specialist will also leverage desktop publishing and multimedia production applications, eLearning authoring tools, and limited aspects of the Canvas Learning Management System. The will also be expected to complete other online learning support activities as needed.
- Assist Multimedia Production Manager with all aspects of studio based pre-production, production, and post-production based activities
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience acting in a general support role in an office environment
- Experience working in video production and post-production workflows
- Proficient using Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in copy editing/generating digital materials, especially those related to learning situations
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, notably Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Preferred experience working/learning with Canvas learning management systems and Google applications
- Preferred experience updating web based content
HOURS: 10-15 per week/Additional hours available during break; Office open Monday - Friday 8:30 – 5:30. Limited weekend hours a possibility given client needs and expanding demand.
WAGE: $11-12/hr. depending on eligibility and experience levels, especially with digital multimedia production.

Honors Lounge
Hello, Honorables! Our first gathering of the year is a PoC Trivia Night on Tuesday, September 10th from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the Honors Lounge. There will be pizza, prizes, and fun facts so sign up as a team or single player here.
This year Honorables of Color will be hosting monthly events for Honors students of color and their peers to share experiences, discuss social issues, and find a sense of community. All are welcome, so we hope to see you soon!
