Kaili Chun (KS '80)
Kaili Chun: sculptor and installation artist, negotiates ideas of containment and exposure, agency and restraint. Process and materials transform physical spaces into unique environments commenting on contemporary issues in her work. She often constructs narratives through symbols and objects that address the impact of historical events on the present day.
Kapulani Landgraf (KS '84)
Landgraf's books, Na Wahi Pana o Ko'olau Poko and Na Wahi Kapu o Maui received Ka Palapala Po'okela Awards for Excellence in Illustrative Books in 1995 and 2004.
Carl Pao (KS '89)
Pao earned his BFA at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa where he was awarded Outstanding Senior Ceramic Student Award in his final year of study. Then after 3 years as the Visual Arts lab assistant at Kamehameha Schools Kapalama campus, Pao set off to pursue his MFA at the prestigious Elam School of Fine Arts at the University of Auckland, Aotearoa.
