Anna High School: December 5-9
Please congratulate senior Jacob Grohs on his achievement as a four-year All-Region Jazz member. During his tenure in the organization, Jacob has made the first chair on alto, tenor, and bari saxophones as well as played the flute during the concert and clinic. Finally, he has qualified for the area round for four years. He has accomplished this while maintaining his ranking of second in his class, serving as a Drum Major for the last two years, performing with the Dallas Youth Orchestra, and many other accolades.
Texas Thespians National Qualifiers
The Anna High School Theatre department competed at the Texas Thespians Festival in Grapevine, Texas on November 16th, 17th, and 18th. Sixteen students qualified for Nationals. Quewanna Graham earned a perfect score for her monologue. She was invited to perform her monologue on the Main Stage on the last day of the festival. Congratulations to all of these students!
