Leadership Message
Hi, my name is Mya, I’m in grade 4 and this is my 5th year at St.John XXIII. One of the reasons I love my school is we get to be closer to God. I’m on the Healthy Living team.
Being a leader means to me that you help others by being a model, making good decisions, and being a good person. Being a leader to me means that I need to model for other kids how to follow the rules and share your gifts.
I think it’s important for the grade fours to be leaders because it helps us learn how to public speak, plan school activities, work together, and share our ideas.
I’ve learned how to feel more comfortable talking in front of others and sharing my gifts and talents with our community.
My favourite part of being a student leader is I get to help form my school and share my ideas with others.
Sincerely,
Mya
Pre-Kindergarten Update 2020-2021
We are working diligently with our EICS Inclusive Learning Teams in response to the Early Learning funding framework (PUF) released from the government yesterday. We will be communicating with our current families as soon as we have more information to help navigate supports for next year.
We are so proud of the incredible work and foundational learning our Pre-K team has provided for the past few years. Sincere appreciation to Ms. Dexter and her team for all they have done for our SJ Pre-K kiddos!
