Last day to register for FISD students needing recovery credit: Wednesday June 10th at 8:30AM. All other students must register before Monday June 8th.

About Summer School
Students who need recovery credit will be given first priority in course selection. Students registering for initial credit courses will be registered on a first-come-first-serve basis. Third year grads can register under "Recovery Credit / Extended Credit" on the registration.
Costs for summer school courses are by 1/2 credit:
- 1/2 credit = $235.00
- 1 full credit (a class that would meet all year) = $470.00
You may pay online through Skyward once your Summer School application has been approved by the counselor, or you may pay in person at the FHS counseling center. Cash and check are acceptable forms of payment. You will be notified by the bookkeeper once you are approved by the counselor to pay for credits.
High school student will have priority for course selection. Junior High students will be able to pay for initial credit courses on April 15th.
Student will be permitted 30 minutes each day for lunch. Lunch will be taken in the Senior Mall in the front of the building. Vending machines will be operational but students should bring their own food for lunch.

If you want to register in person, please come to the school and register on the computer outside the counseling center.

Payment is due after the counseling department and bookkeeper have reviewed your registration. You will be notified by email once you can pay for credits.

Attendance and Grading
Attendance is extremely important in summer school as the coursework is accelerated.
Students cannot miss more that two days total during the entire summer session.Students who miss one day will receive a warning. After the second absence (3 or more) students will be withdrawn from the Summer School program without a refund.
Grading
Teachers will grade students on their grade books and return grades to students. Grades will be reported to the registrar at the close of Summer School for credit on the student's transcript.
