Humble Middle School Course Selection
Please attend the Parent Night with your child on January 25th so you can be part of your child's course decisions.
When you attend this event, the Counselors will assist you in selecting the courses for next year with your child. If you do not attend, the counselors will be on our campus to make sure each child has selected courses for 6th grade following the parent night.
The students will receive course selection cards in the next week. We will let you know when these are sent home and include instructions about how to complete them. There is a very short turn around when they are sent home. Please use this time to begin discussing and making final decisions about courses for next year.
**Each child will select their core subjects: RELA (reading and language arts), Math, Science, History (Social Studies). They have a choice of PreAp or On Level.
*Then they have a choice of PE or Dance.
*Then students will need to choose 2 electives.
The students attended the Middle School Fine Arts and Elective Showcase in December so they are aware of the different options they will have for electives in middle school. These will be listed on the course selection cards.
Regardless of which Middle School your child plans to attend, ALL students will complete course selection for Humble Middle School.
